Hello, I’m Ash Jones DJ & Director of A J Events Services.
As a DJ my aim is to offer you a higher standard of wedding entertainment. Me and the team at A J Events Services aim to supply an exceptional service right from the moment you make your initial enquiry.
We can arrange multiple meeting from the start where we can discuss your event and bring your imagination to life. We understand some people have busy lives and its not possible to arrange a meeting so we have created an online system you can log into and fill in the questionnaires when convenient.
Being a Personality DJ & Mix DJ for over 17 years I've seen all types of parties and celebrations having first hand experience with what works and what doesn't. There for, can give advice on any idea's you may have.
I also think its fair to say I have a real passion for music. After years of playing to crowds far and wide I've created ever growing archive of over 70,000 tracks I've definitely got all the main genre's covered, from rock to reggae, kisstory to poolside Ibiza chill I've got your event covered.
Got other entertainment? Also being an audio engineer its possible for us to run the likes of singers, sax players, comedians etc through our system possibly saving you money as all they need to bring is themselves and their preferred mic of choice.
In your login area there will be an option to tell us your must plays, guest requests, and do not plays. I can also take requests on the evening prior to your consent (i cannot confirm some requests will get played due to being deemed appropriate to the surrounding).
I offer 3 setup options (detailed below) to suit most party and venue sizes. Upon request it is possible to have the disco finish in black or white and order a larger sound system.
All our equipment comes with appropriate PAT (portable appliance test) & PLI (public liability insurance) certificates.
My team and i will work out the logistics with the venue/wedding planner.
Typically arranged from 7pm to midnight the evening gets planned as:
Background music for guest arrival
Announce cutting of cake (if not done in breakfast)
Invite you for first dance
Any other planned dances
Announce evening buffet & background music
Goodnight and all the best
(this is a typical wedding evening running order together we'll create the running order for your event)

With our hosing option we’ll be at your event all day working alongside your wedding planner/wedding plan making sure your day runs as seamlessly as possible. We can be there for announcements throughout the entire day making sure your guests are all kept in the picture with what’s going on around them. We will also supply wireless microphone’s for speeches and the ceremony (if in the same venue).
Our breakfast+ extra is an additional service that can be booked with one of our disco/evening DJ packages. With the breakfast+ you’ll get a host/DJ playing background music at a comfortable level throughout the wedding breakfast and will also announce proceedings, speeches, cutting of cake, room turn around, wedding party or any other requirements to the wedding plan. Wireless microphone’s will also be provided for speeches.
